The greens should be mowed at 7/64 inch (or lower) and sustain an 11-ft ball roll as measured by a regulation stimpmeter. Tees should be mowed at 5/32 inch and maintained as much as possible as greens. Collars and fairways should be maintained at 3/8 inch and bordered by a 6-ft-wide "short-cut" rough maintained at 7/8 inch. The remaining roughs should be maintained at a 2-inch height
