The fifth hole is a 369-yard par 4 with the green situated to the left side of the main axis of the fairway; consequently, much of the traffic comes at the green from the right rough. There is a poorly drained depression, measuring approximately 16,200 sq. ft., in which the turfgrass cover is either very thin or nonexistent.
