Cultural Operations

Mowing:
o Height: 1/8" - 5/32"
o Machine: Jacobsen 22" walk behind mowers
o Frequency: 7 days per week
o Double-cutting, brushing and grooming performed on an as needed basis

Fertilization:
o Balanced, spoon-feeding program
o 2-4 lbs N, 2lbs P, 5-8lbs K

Watering:
o Deep and infrequent in spring/fall
o Hand-water when needed in summer months
o Keep the greens "on the edge"

Aerification:
o Frequency: 2 times per year, April/August
o Procedure: core cultivate, remove cores, topdress, overseed with bentgrass
o Poa annua reduction program

Topdressing:
o Material: 80:20 sand:soil mix
o Frequency: 2-3 weeks, light dressing before events
o Heavy dressing following core cultivation to fill in holes

Rolling:
o Frequency: 3-4 times per week
o Always rolled prior to events

Pesticide Applications:
o As needed basis
o TGR's for poa annua reduction
