The Aveneae and the Festuceae are the two tribes belonging to the Festuceae or Festucoid subfamily. Included within the Aveneae is the genus Agrostis (bentgrasses). Within the Festuceae are the genera: Poa (bluegrasses), Lolium (ryegrasses) and Festuca (fescues). |
